INK & DRINK, a pop-up from Mi Campo Tequila, lands at Mother Cocktail Bar on Queen Street West on October 1. Toronto is one of just three Canadian stops for the event, which pairs complimentary cocktails with flash tattoos done on the spot. You book a 30-minute appointment online in advance, turn up ten minutes early, pick a design from the flash selection, show photo ID, sign the waivers, and get to work.
The needle is handled by Toronto artist Roman Arabia, whose style mixes traditional and Irezumi Japanese techniques with pop-culture references — anime and gaming among them. So whether you want something classic or something that nods to your favourite series, there's likely a flash sheet option that fits. Once the tattoo is done, you get aftercare instructions and a Mi Campo cocktail on the house. One drink per person, and you need to be 19 or older to get inked or drink.
The venue is a draw in itself. Mother is an award-winning cocktail bar known for experimental drinks and natural ingredients, and it recently placed No. 22 on North America's 50 Best Bars 2026 list. The featured spirit is worth a mention too: Mi Campo is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave with a traditional Mexican process behind a modern, softer style — smooth and slightly sweet, built for margaritas and palomas.
