Formula 1 fever has taken over Singapore, and Suntec City has joined the party with a free LEGO pop-up that works for hardcore petrolheads and families killing time before the race weekend. The LEGO F1 Experience the Thrill sits in the Atrium between Towers 3 and 4, running daily from 11am to 9.30pm until 18 October 2026.
The centrepiece is hard to miss: a life-sized VCARB F1 car built from nearly 400,000 LEGO elements, assembled over 1,800 hours. There's a story in the scuffs too — this is the same sculpture racer Liam Lawson wheeled around at the 2025 Miami Grand Prix drivers' parade, so sharp-eyed visitors can spot the battle damage.
The interactive side works on a Race Pass. Grab one at the redemption booth, then work through four booths to collect digital stamps — hit at least three and you get a reward. The Gear-Up Zone times you building a LEGO F1 steering wheel in 30 seconds (pro tip: sort your parts before pressing the start button). The Speed Zone puts you behind a virtual wheel via touch screen, the Sprint Zone tests your reaction time against a leaderboard (the fastest guests win LEGO F1 sets; a racing pro benchmark of 0.161 seconds by Singapore driver Ethan Brown is there to humble you), and the Victory Zone is a photo booth with LEGO Racer Minifigures. Rewards include a mini LEGO Steering Wheel set, $10 off a set, or a free Build-A-Minifigure session at the mall's LEGO store.
Elsewhere in Suntec City, 10 LEGO F1 Racer Minifigure installations hide around the mall, each with a QR code. Scan all four unique codes and you're entered into a draw for a LEGO City F1 Display Truck with Audi F1 Race Car set. There's also a community mosaic wall built with local group Adult LEGO Fans, which the public can contribute to during a guided session on 9 October 2026.
If you came to shop, the pop-up has exclusive deals: Speed Champions sets from $39.90 (Ferrari, McLaren, Audi), 1,500-piece Technic models of the McLaren MCL39 and Aston Martin AMR25 at $329, and driver helmet sets from $89.99 modelled on the lids worn by Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. Buy two Speed Champions sets for 15% off, three for 20%, and the two Technic cars as a bundle for 25% off. Spending thresholds unlock more freebies — a mini F1 Academy Car at $89, a tyre key chain at $150, and a brick sling bag at $249.
Getting there is easy: Promenade MRT on the Downtown Line drops you right at Towers 3 and 4, or walk 10 minutes from Esplanade or City Hall. Entry is free, so it's a low-cost add-on to any Singapore trip that happens to overlap with Grand Prix season — and even if you leave empty-handed, you'll have photos with a 400,000-brick F1 car that actually raced.
