American Express has rolled out a new targeted Amex Offers deal aimed squarely at JetBlue flyers: spend $400 or more with the airline and get a $60 statement credit back. That's an effective 15% discount, and since the spend window runs all the way to December 14, 2026, there's plenty of time to line it up with a trip you were going to book anyway.

First things first — this is a targeted offer, so it's worth logging into your Amex account and checking the Offers tab. If it's there, you'll need to add it to your card before spending. The $400 threshold can be met across one or several purchases, which gives you some flexibility: the deal covers flights booked via jetblue.com, the JetBlue app, or the airline's call centre, plus JetBlue Vacations. Even ancillary spend counts, including checked bags, inflight purchases, pet fees, change and cancellation fees, and business or group bookings.

A few conditions to keep in mind. If you're buying a flight, it has to originate in the United States and be charged in US dollars. You also need the charge to post by December 14, 2026 — but crucially, you don't have to actually fly by then. Book a trip for next summer, pay now, and the credit still applies.

There's also a clever workaround for people without imminent travel plans. JetBlue no longer charges change fees on most fares (Blue Basic除外), so if your plans shift, the value of your ticket converts to JetBlue Travel Bank credit that stays valid for 12 months. In other words, booking a $400+ ticket now to trigger the credit isn't especially risky — worst case, you're holding airline credit to use later, with $60 back in your pocket either way.

To squeeze the most from the deal, put it on an Amex card that earns bonus points on airfare. That way you're stacking the statement credit on top of extra Membership Rewards points, rather than just getting the flat discount. The credit applies once per card, so if you hold multiple Amex cards and see the offer on more than one, you can potentially claim it several times.

Deals like this are why it pays to skim your card offers every few weeks — they're free money if they happen to match a purchase you were already making. Anyone with JetBlue trips on the horizon, particularly families or groups whose total spend will easily clear $400, should check eligibility before booking direct.
