Mickey Mouse is trading his shorts for a racing suit. Ahead of the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix (race weekend runs 8-10 October 2026), Disney and Formula 1 have launched a joint merchandising programme called Fuel the Magic, and it spans six brand collaborations across Singapore — from $14.90 kids' tees to $580 pewter race cars.

The easiest entry point is UNIQLO, whose first Disney x F1 UT graphic tees land in Singapore stores and online on 28th September 2026. Adults pay $19.90 per shirt, kids' sizes $14.90, with designs ranging from Mickey in full racing gear to a low-key red chest graphic for anyone who'd rather keep the fandom subtle.

Collectors have more to chase. 52TOYS' Mickey & Friends Race Day blind boxes ($25.90) are already out, sold at the Disney Garden of Wonder in Floral Fantasy, The Wonder Store at Jewel Changi Airport, and online — with a gold Secret Metallic Mickey Champion figure as the chase item. Royal Selangor is taking the premium route with pewter pieces: a Disney x F1 car at $310, a Mickey Racer figurine at $150, a limited edition gift car at $580, and a $50 keychain, release date still to be confirmed.

If you're in town for race week itself, MINISO's pop-up at Orchard Central runs from 28th September to 11th October, stocking the Speed Life vinyl plush plus tumblers, tote bags and photo spots. Over at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, the Hot Wheels booth at Orchard Paddock debuts the Disney and Pixar's Cars F1 Multipack during Grand Prix weekend — a 1:55-scale set with Lightning McQueen, Francesco Bernoulli and Alex Machino — before it spreads to Toys"R"Us and Takashimaya from late October.

There's even practical kit in the mix. Belkin's F1-themed tech accessories drop on 25th September at iStudio outlets (including all four Changi Airport terminals) and at Mickey & Friends Racing Team pop-ups at Changi's arrivals halls and Marina Square: a $138.90 10K power bank with a built-in motion-sensor night light, a $98.90 magnetic wireless power bank, and $74.90 wireless earbuds.

For travellers, this is a rare reason to arrive in Singapore early. Much of the merchandise appears before race weekend, so a stop at Jewel Changi or Orchard Road in late September gets you first pick without the Grand Prix crowds. If you're flying in for the night race anyway, the pop-ups at Changi arrivals mean you can grab a souvenir literally as you land — handy if the Marina Bay street circuit eats up your schedule. Fans of Pixar's Cars, blind-box hunting or premium collectibles each get something different, and prices run the full gamut from impulse-buy tees to display-case centrepieces.
