From a tropical Halloween costume party to a football camp led by a former Ballon d'Or winner, the islands are stacking the season with reasons to book a family trip that isn't your average beach week.
The headline act is Reethi Faru Resort, which turns 31 October into a full-blown island Halloween. Kids get an afternoon programme of face painting, themed games and costume-making, while the evening brings a resort-wide costume party with DJ music and dancing. If your trip priorities skew sporty, Avani+ Fares Maldives in Baa Atoll is bringing back Michael Owen for his third Kids' Football Camp, running 14–17 October 2026.
