Liveaboard favourite Aggressor Adventures has given its Red Sea Aggressor II a full refit, and the changes go well beyond a coat of paint. The dive yacht has been redesigned inside and out, with fresh lounges, upgraded outdoor areas and a reworked cabin plan that noticeably shifts who the boat can carry.
The headline change is capacity. The vessel previously had 11 staterooms taking 22 divers; it now sleeps 26 across 13 staterooms. Two brand-new Master Staterooms have been added on the upper deck, and two former Deluxe cabins have been converted to Master spec, taking the total from two to six. For anyone who has ever fought for the best rooms on a Red Sea liveaboard, that's a meaningful shift — premium accommodation is now an option for more of the guest list.
Each Master Stateroom comes with a picture window, private bathroom, air conditioning, bathrobes, hairdryer and a 32-inch flat-screen TV hooked up to a library of over 400 films — handy for post-dive evenings when the day's dives have worn you out. CEO Jay Roberts says the redesign lifts comfort and layout while keeping the intimacy and service levels the boat is known for.
The itineraries themselves are unchanged. The yacht continues to run northern Red Sea routes, which means reef dives, dramatic walls and the region's famous historic wrecks — think wrecks and reefs accessible from Hurghada and the Straits of Tiran area, with pelagic action and healthy coral along the way.
