Slipknot is heading back out for a massive stadium run in 2027, and Canadian fans get two nights of their own. The Iowa metal band just announced the (sic)est Stadium Tour, produced by Live Nation, with stops at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal on July 21, 2027, and Toronto's Rogers Stadium on July 23, 2027.
The North American leg kicks off July 16, 2027, at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., after a July 3 opener at Wembley Stadium in London. From there the band hits Queens' Citi Field, Soldier Field in Chicago, Fenway Park in Boston, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, before closing the continent out in Phoenix in mid-August. September brings five South American shows across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
Support varies by city. Bring Me the Horizon and Kublai Khan TX appear at both Canadian dates, but Montreal also gets Vended — the band fronted by Slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan's son. Elsewhere, the rotating lineup includes Acid Bath, Lamb of God, Marilyn Manson, Hatebreed, Lorna Shore, Polyphia, Loathe and Motionless in White, depending on the night. If you're flexible about which stadium you attend, the underbill might sway you.
Ticketing runs in waves. An artist presale opens Tuesday, September 29 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a Knotfest presale at noon the same day. General public sales start Friday, October 2 at 10 a.m. local time. The Toronto show is a 6 p.m. start at Rogers Stadium (81 YZD Ln.) with pricing still to be announced — given that this is a stadium tour from a band nearly 30 years into its career, moving early on presale access is probably wise.
For travellers, this is a decent excuse to build a summer city break around a show. Montreal's Parc Jean-Drapeau sits on an island in the St. Lawrence with a skyline backdrop, and a late-July trip lines up with festival-season energy across the city. Toronto's Rogers Stadium is the newer open-air venue at Downsview Park, easy to pair with a few days of patio season and neighbourhood wandering. With the band also playing New York, Chicago, Boston and San Francisco on the same leg, a cross-border music trip is entirely doable if Canadian dates sell out — just note that support acts differ city to city.
