Boy band nostalgia is heading back to Thailand. Blue — Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe — will play Bangkok on 26 January 2027 at UOB Live in the Emsphere complex, part of the second leg of their 25th Anniversary Asia Tour and their third-ever concert in the country.
The setlist leans heavily on the hits that made them a household name in the early 2000s: All Rise, the song that started it all; One Love, the title track from their second album; their chart-topping cover of Next's Too Close; If You Come Back, another UK number one; and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, recorded with Elton John himself. Expect one newer cut too — the quartet released their seventh studio album, Reflections, in January 2025 to mark the anniversary.
For a band that formed in 2000, the numbers still stack up. Their first three albums all hit number one in the UK, they've won two BRIT Awards, and their touring footprint stretches across Europe, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and, evidently, Southeast Asia. Thailand has always been a reliable stop for them, which is why this return makes sense — Bangkok crowds turned out for them twice before.
Tickets roll out in stages. Mastercard cardholders get first access with a presale running from 14 October at 10am to 15 October at 10am, followed by a UOB Mastercard presale on 15 October from 12pm to 10pm. Live Nation Tero members can buy on 16 October between 10am and 10pm, and general sales open on 17 October at 10am through Ticketmaster. If you're planning to fly in for the show, that general sale date is the one to diarise — presale codes only help if you hold the right card or membership.
For fans of early-noughties pop, this is an easy trip to justify. Emsphere sits in the heart of Sukhumvit, one of Bangkok's best-connected districts, so a concert night pairs naturally with street food, rooftop bars and the city's usual chaos. January is also arguably the best month to be in the Thai capital — cooler, drier and far more comfortable than the sweltering months either side.
The 25th Anniversary Tour framing matters here: this isn't a low-key club date but a milestone show, likely the band's most polished production of this era. Whether you were singing All Rise in a school playground or discovered them through a greatest-hits playlist, it's a rare chance to catch a full arena set from a group that defined a particular moment in pop.
Plan the flights around the ticket sale — Bangkok is well served by low-cost carriers from across Asia, and January fares climb as peak season bites, so booking early pays off.
