Lunch is quietly the smartest meal in Dubai. While dinner reservations hog the attention, a wave of weekday set menus across the city lets you eat at some of its biggest-name restaurants for a fraction of the usual bill — from Dhs59 in Dubai Marina up to Dhs195 at Dubai Creek Harbour.
In DIFC, LPM remains the classic pick: Dhs135 buys a starter and main (think sea bream tartare or Paccheri à la Norcina), with dessert included on the Dhs185 menu. Nearby, The Guild does a Dhs119 starter-and-main deal spanning Wagyu carpaccio to grilled salmon, while Japan-influenced CLAP has just launched its HIRU GOZEN lunch under new chef partner Reif Othman, with ramen and Angus beef dishes on the cards.
If you want views with your midday meal, Andaliman's Skyline Business Lunch at The Link, One Za'abeel sits 100 metres up with Indonesian set menus at Dhs99, dessert and water included. Culinara, in the same building, runs a Dhs65 deal pulling from Persian, Greek and Lebanese kitchens.
Budget hunters should head to Dubai Marina Mall, where Levantine spot Awani serves mezze and grills for Dhs59 a head, weekdays noon to 5pm. Over in JVC, Woodish does two starters, a main and dessert for Dhs79, and Spanish taberna Lola in Barsha Heights runs Dhs85–125 menus complete with churros.
Downtown and Business Bay hold their own: Jun's offers Chef Kelvin Cheung's two- or three-course lunch from Dhs125, The MAINE serves a Dhs145 prix fixe with steak frites and sticky toffee pudding, and High Society on the 30th floor of The Lana pairs Dhs150–175 menus with skyline panoramas.
Palm Jumeirah plays host to the splurge tier — Nobu by the Beach at Atlantis The Royal at Dhs175 and waterfront Italian Ristorante Loren at Dhs160 — while the Creek rounds things out with golf-course lunches at Lakeview (Dhs85) and Creek views at Boardwalk (Dhs110 for two courses, tea or coffee included).
Whether you're on a work trip and need a credible client venue, or just visiting and fancy a low-cost meal at a restaurant you'd normally reserve weeks ahead, Dubai's weekday lunch scene is the easiest value hack in the city. Most menus run noon to 3pm or 4pm, Sunday or Monday through Friday, so timing your sightseeing around a long lunch is entirely doable.
