Colombian urbano star Ryan Castro has announced the Los Chorros Con Richy Tour, two December 2026 dates built around his Christmas-themed alter ego, Richy. He plays Madison Square Garden in New York on Dec. 12 and the Kaseya Center in Miami on Dec. 19, with both shows starting at 8:30 p.m. and doors at 7:30 p.m.
The concept is unusual. Since 2021, Castro has released a string of songs under the Richy name inspired by Colombia's December festivities — starting with "Mujeriego," then "La Garrafa" and "El pan de Estefanía" in 2022, "Richy (El Pichón)" and "El Bote" in 2023, "El chucu chucu" with Juanes in 2024, and "Mi Fortuna" in 2025. The material swaps his usual reggaeton sound for chucu-chucu and tropical rhythms tied to Colombian year-end celebrations, when families gather, and specific songs become annual rituals.
Tickets for both dates went on general sale Sept. 30 after presales the day before, and the New York show reportedly sold out quickly — Castro celebrated the MSG sell-out on social media, calling it the most famous arena in the world. Miami will be his second time at the Kaseya Center after a 2025 show, which the venue framed as proof of his growing audience in South Florida.
The timing fits a busy US run. Castro is currently on the SENDE: The Last Dance Tour, which kicked off in Atlanta on Sept. 6 and wraps in Las Vegas on Oct. 10, before he returns in December with the Richy format. He also recently sold out Medellín's Estadio Atanasio Girardot, one of the biggest shows of his career at home.
For travellers, this is a genuinely different kind of Latin concert. Instead of a standard reggaeton set, audiences get a show rooted in Colombian Christmas culture — navideño songs, tropical brass and percussion, and the atmosphere of a Colombian December, staged for the huge Colombian and wider Latino communities in New York and Miami. If you're in either city mid-December 2026, it doubles as a cultural introduction to how Colombia does the holidays: think agua de panela family parties, novenas and parranda energy, filtered through one of Medellín's biggest current artists. Even if you can't make the dates, the Richy catalogue is a fun playlist for anyone visiting Colombia in December.
