Yotel is finally touching down in Thailand. The brand's first Thai hotel, Yotel Bangkok Sukhumvit, opens its doors on 15 October 2026, and it's doing so inside one of the city's most talked-about new developments: Cloud 11, a creative-industry complex in South Sukhumvit in the city's south-east.
The 250-room hotel is Yotel's 24th worldwide and its fourth in Asia, and it's also the first Yotel in the region to join the Select by Hilton family — a useful detail if you collect Hilton Honors points. It's the first hotel to open within Cloud 11 itself, a mixed-use mega-project that launched in July 2026 with music recording studios, content production facilities, galleries, a cinema, event spaces, offices, retail and a rooftop park at its centre. Think of it less as a hotel lobby neighbourhood and more as Bangkok staking a claim as a creative-economy capital.
The rooms stick to Yotel's familiar formula: compact, smartly designed spaces built around sleep. There's the reclining SmartBed, self-service check-in stations that get you to your room in under a minute, mood lighting, monsoon showers, fast WiFi, wireless charging and mini coolers. Toiletries come from Urban Jungle, and robots can deliver towels and bottled water to your door. Room choices run from Premium Queen to twins and interconnecting rooms, plus First Class King rooms with a sofa bed — a sensible pick for families or a group of friends splitting a booking.
Views depend on which side you land: some rooms look over Cloud 11's rooftop park, others face Bang Krachao, the forested river island known as Bangkok's 'green lung', with upper floors taking in the skyline.
On the facilities front there's an outdoor pool and bar under the Yotel Swim Club banner, a gym, and Komyuniti — the brand's all-day dining and co-working hybrid, directly accessible from Cloud 11. The big opening of the season is Fatty's, a 23rd-floor rooftop bar and restaurant launching in November 2026, which will welcome locals as well as guests and promises a full panorama of the city.
Yotel's CEO Phil Andreopoulos frames Bangkok as both a tourist magnet and a growing hub for entrepreneurs and digital nomads — and the hotel is clearly aimed at both. If your trip mixes work and play, the co-working-plus-dining setup and Cloud 11's studios and event calendar make this a credible base on the Sukhumvit side of town, well connected to the BTS skytrain and everything else the district does well: street food, markets and late nights.
For travellers, the takeaway is simple: from mid-October 2026 there's a fresh, tech-forward mid-market option in a part of Bangkok most visitors only pass through, plus a new rooftop worth climbing to even if you're not staying.
