Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has grown its experiential lineup, adding eight new guest experiences under the Special Happens… banner. The program, which the brand ties to its 'Make Special Happen' ethos, is organised into four categories: After Dark, In the Spotlight, Around the Table and In the Wild. All experiences require reservations, and they're bookable now.
The After Dark set leans into atmosphere after sundown. In Tokyo, Fairmont's OFF RECORD bar — a hidden-style listening bar guided by bar director Hideyuki Saito — hosts A Private Night of Music, Cocktails & Tokyo's Listening Bar Culture. In Mexico, Fairmont Mayakoba stages Symphony in a Cenote, a performance set inside an ancient limestone sinkhole beneath the jungle, with clear water and cavern rock as the natural venue.
In the Spotlight experiences are culture- and performance-led. Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi offers Karam's A Journey of Emirati Hospitality, a full-day immersion in local traditions and food. Fairmont El San Juan Hotel in Puerto Rico has The Grand Performance Experience Stay, built around the hotel's musical history, while Fairmont Golden Prague partners with dopeYEAH, a private music club and creative space in the Czech capital, for The Ultimate Curated Music Experience.
Food lovers get two options under Around the Table: The Spice Route at Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, a guided walk through five centuries of spice-trade history, and Fairmont Copley Plaza's annual Holiday Bacchanal Dinner in Boston, which the brand bills as a local fixture.
Rounding things out, In the Wild covers Fairmont Tremblant's Beyond the Slopes, a private deluxe ski escape in Quebec with premium slope access — a strong pick for a winter trip.
