Bangkok's South Sukhumvit district is getting a new place to sleep. YOTEL, the tech-forward hotel brand born in London, opens its first Thai property on 15 October 2026 inside Cloud 11, a sprawling creative complex backed by more than 20 billion Thai baht and designed around everything from film and music studios to gaming, festivals and a rooftop park.
The 250-room hotel is YOTEL's 24th worldwide and its first in Asia under the Select by Hilton banner, following a deal signed in March 2026 that plugs the brand into Hilton Honors. That matters if you collect points: members can earn and redeem them here like at any Hilton property.
Inside, expect the brand's usual formula: self-service kiosks that get you checked in under a minute, compact smart rooms built around the reclining SmartBed, wireless charging, mood lighting and monsoon showers. Toiletries come from Urban Jungle, and robots can ferry towels and bottled water to your door. Room types span Premium Queens, twins and interconnecting rooms, plus larger First Class Kings with sofa beds for families or groups.
Facilities lean social. Komyuniti combines all-day Thai and international dining with a co-working space, there's a 24-hour gym, an outdoor pool with a bar, and Grab + Go for round-the-clock snacks. From November 2026, Fatty's lands on the 23rd floor as the rooftop restaurant and bar, with panoramas over the city.
The location is the real selling point. A 300-metre skywalk connects you directly to the BTS Skytrain — Thong Lor is four stops away, the Asok intersection six, and BITEC exhibition centre is 2.3km by road. Both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports are reachable without much drama. Rooms face either Cloud 11's rooftop park or Bang Krachao, the forested 'green lung' across the river.
Rates start at THB 1,800 per night, with a 20% launch discount available for early bookers. If your trip leans creative — studios, galleries, street food, a city quietly building a reputation as a digital nomad base — this corner of Sukhumvit is worth a look, even if the rest of YOTEL's play is straightforward convenience at a fair price.
