Philadelphia's Frankford Hall in Fishtown might be the most ambitious of the lot: a renovated industrial space seating 400 across indoor and outdoor areas, with 15 rotating taps ranging from an exclusively imported house lager to Victory's Brotherly Love IPA. Further south, Charlotte's Olde Mecklenburg Brewery is the Southeast's largest beer garden, set on eight acres with a family zone and year-round beer hall — it was voted the No. 1 beer garden in the US by USA Today in 2024.
Rounding out the list are Bolts & Brews in Summerville, South Carolina — a year-round garden with live music that's literally attached to an Ace Hardware, so you can reward yourself after running errands — and Society Garden in Macon, Georgia, an urban courtyard of picnic tables and string lights pouring local Fall Line Brewing alongside imports like Warsteiner.
