If you've ever fantasised about saying "I do" on a Phuket beach or in a glittering Bangkok ballroom, October 2026 might be the time to turn that into a booking. Marriott Bonvoy's wedding and honeymoon fair, Marry Me at Marriott, is returning to Bangkok on Saturday October 3, 2026, taking over the Thai Chitlada Grand Ballroom on the second floor of the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park.
The scale is the story here. Thirty-two Marriott properties across Thailand are involved, covering 14 brands from the Select tier up to full Luxury — so a couple can compare a W Bangkok celebration, a St Regis ballroom, and a barefoot-friendly resort on Koh Samui or Krabi in a single afternoon. Participating hotels span Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Rayong, Hua Hin, Phuket, Khao Lak, Koh Samui and Krabi, ranging from slick city hotels to beach resorts and quieter upcountry retreats.
It's designed as a one-stop shop. Wedding teams from each hotel will be on hand to talk packages, set-ups, décor and food, and visitors can also meet planners, dressmakers, jewellers, make-up artists, photographers, videographers and lighting and sound crews. On the catering side, six Bangkok hotels — The St. Regis, JW Marriott, The Athenee, Marriott Sukhumvit, Marriott The Surawongse and the Marriott Marquis Queen's Park — will run a food showcase, since the menu tends to make or break the day.
There's a programme of live activities too: a talk from a wedding expert, a his-and-hers drinks workshop, a video guestbook demo, perfume workshops, keychain making, a photo booth, a claw machine and live painting. Fun, but also a practical chance to see suppliers actually at work before committing.
The financial sweetener is Marriott Bonvoy points. Couples who confirm a wedding booking with a participating hotel during the fair earn 15,000 bonus points, and those who pre-register in advance and finalise their booking on the day earn an additional 15,000 — up to 30,000 points in total. Pre-registration is done online before the event.
Who's this for? Anyone seriously considering a destination wedding or honeymoon in Thailand, whether that's a grand reception in central Bangkok or a small ceremony on the sand. It's equally useful for couples at the browsing stage — you can compare venues, taste catering and meet planners without flying around the country. Just note the dates: Saturday October 3, 2026, at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park, and you'll want to pre-register to lock in the extra points.
